Healing

Isa 53:4-5 NIV "Surely he took up our infirmities (weakness, sickness, disease, and wound-Strongs Def.) and carried our sorrows, (pains-Strongs) yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

Matt 8:16-17 NIV "When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.

17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."

1 Peter 2:24 NIV "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."

James 5:14-15 NIV "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.

15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven."



DIVINE HEALING - Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is accomplished by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the Church today. (James 5:14,15; Mark 16:18; Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24)

If it was the will of God for people to be sick then Jesus would have told at least one person in the four Gospel accounts. If it was the will of God for you to "wait awhile", then Jesus would have told at least one person to "wait awhile!" It never happened even once.

Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed with the devil; for God was with him."

If it was ever God's will to heal then it is still God's will to heal because He Never Changes. (Mal. 3:6) If you need healing, I come in agreement with you, that as you pray the following prayer of faith for your healing, that the healing power of God will flow into your body and recovery will begin.

Prayer: " Heavenly Father, In the Name of Jesus, I believe what your Word says about the provision of healing for my body. Right now, I believe that I receive healing from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I declare by faith that my body is well according to your Word. Thank you Father in Jesus Name for my healing. Amen! "
