Faith

Heb. 11:1,2 NKJV "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony."

Heb 11:6 NKJV "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Mark 11:22-24 NKJV "So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive (Take) them, and you will have them."

1 John 5:14-15 NKJV "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1 Thess 2:13 KJV "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

Rom 10:8-10 NKJV "But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Rom 4:17-18 NKJV "as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed -- God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;"

There are two parts to faith,
1st, You must believe with your heart.
2nd, you confess with your mouth.

Then by releasing your faith through speaking the Word of God that you believe, the answer is forth coming; such as salvation, healing, financial need being met, answered prayer.

The Bible says that we are to walk by faith and not by sight. This means I don't allow myself to be moved from my faith or trust in Gods Word because of what I may see or not see. It means that I go by what the Word says, not by what circumstances may dictate. In short faith will say what the Word says and corresponding actions in line will follow.

Faith will not allow itself to be moved by any thought, suggestion, mental picture, or feeling that does not contribute to trust in God's Word.
