Luke 4:18-19 NKJV "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind,To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."

The Hebrew word for "anointing" means: a smeared on ability, miraculous faculty, endowment. The Anointing, is God's gifting of power and ability for natural man to walk in supernatural enablement.

The Anointing can bring healing, a "word of knowledge", the ability to speak with wisdom above your years, to do things that would otherwise not be possible in the natural.

We should always trust God for this supernatural ability when we are going to minister to people, or when we are endeavoring to help people from a spiritual standpoint.
