DIVINE HEALING - Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is accomplished by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the Church today. (James 5:14,15; Mark 16:18; Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24) If it was the will of God for people to be sick then Jesus would have told at least one person in the four Gospel accounts. If it was the will of God for you to "wait awhile", then Jesus would have told at least one person to "wait awhile!" It never happened even once. Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed with the devil; for God was with him." If it was ever God's will to heal then it is still God's will to heal because He Never Changes. Compassion In Living Demonstration… December, 2015 Buenos Aries Argentina. How can I describe His Wonders?... The last night of meetings I taught on Faith when the Word of Knowledge for healing began to flow. The room began to fill with the tangible presence of God..everyone was talking about it! A woman came forward with neck, back, legs, and shoulder pain who rarely came to church because of the pain. The healing power of God went all over her body and she became Completely Pain Free; moving her neck, back, legs, and arms as tears of Joy streamed down her face!!! The Pastors wife had been suffering with a crippling disease for 10 years that caused three of her fingers on her left hand to twist almost 60 degrees and pain ran continuously in the joints of her arms. When she came forward for prayer I was unaware of her condition, she only mentioned that she had pain throughout her right arm. I was about to pray for her when suddenly I found myself saying, Jesus loves you! I repeated this three times as tears began streaming down her face. Then I began to pray. As I laid hands on her the pain left first, Then she sat down with one of the interpreters that came with me to the meeting. I continued praying for others who had come up in the healing line, when suddenly the other interpreter began calling my name and telling me to come and look! The pastor’s wife held out her hand to show me that her fingers that a few moments ago were twisted, were now completely straighten out! Heb. 9:1-8 Under the Old covenant only the high Priest went into the holy of holies once a year. The high priest was the only one that had entrance into the manifested presence of God. 2. If others were to intrude into this place they would fall dead. 3. According to Exod. 28:35-43 The high priest had to sanctify (cleanse himself according to Jewish law) himself before he entered the holy place, or he would fall dead. C. ✔️ Under the New Covenant Jesus Has Paid the Final Penalty for sin and Gained Entrance For Us Into the very Holiest of God's Presence. -Heb. 9:11-14 1. Because of this Righteousness God Provided, I don't have to stand Outside the Door. Heb. 4:16 GNT " Let us have confidence, then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. Fallen man has No Legal ground to approach God because he is more than a transgressor, a sinner, He has the nature of his father the devil. a. Jn. 8:44 "you are of your father the devil." B. This is why man cannot be saved by his conduct-good works. His spiritual nature Must Be Changed through the New Birth! C. Covenant man who has accepted Jesus Christ loses the sense of sin and in its place receives a sense of his oneness and fellowship with the Father. 1. When I ACT LIKE God’s Word is TRUE, THE POWER OF THE PROMISE IS RELEASED IN ME! a. Faith without corresponding Action in Lifeless and ineffective! James 1:5-7; 2:14-18 4. Col. 1:13-14 AMP "The Father has Delivered and Drawn Us to Himself Out of the Control and the Dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins." a. Notice in this Scripture that He "Delivered Us Out of the authority of darkness"- that is Satan's dominion-and at the same time "Translated Us into the kingdom of the Son of His Love." 1. There are 3 facts here. 1st, We are Delivered Out of Satan's dominion. 2. 2nd, We are Born Into The Kingdom of the Son of His love. 3. The 3rd is, "In Christ We Have Our Redemption." That is a Redemption from Satan's dominion. a. ✔️✔️ Satan has No Legal Right to Reign Over the man or woman who has Accepted Christ as his Saviour. b. That man has been delivered out of Satan's dominion, Satan's family, Satan's authority. He has been born into the family of God, The Kingdom of the Son of His love. D. "Righteousness is A "Gift Given" in the New Creation (New Birth). 1. It Restores Our Standing Before God. 2. It takes away the old Sin-Consciousness that has crippled us and robbed us of all our Spiritual Ambition, Confidence and Assurance in His presence. (2 Cor. 5:17) 3. It Restores to man a standing before the Father on the same ground that Jesus enjoyed in His earth walk. a. Remember the Fearlessness of Jesus in the presence of the Father, His Fearlessness before Satan. VII. THROUGH RIGHTEOUSNESS, WE DOMINATE THE POWERS OF DARKNESS!!! A. 2 Cor. 5:21. “For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 1. When Jesus went to the Cross by the determined counsel of God, became sin, Took Our Place as a Substitute. Then He conquered the Enemy and made Righteousness Available to man! B. ✔️ A redemption that did not make man Righteous would be a failure. 1. Until man is Righteous and Knows It, Satan reigns over him, sin and disease are his masters. 2. Sin Consciousness can be found as the reason for practically every spiritual failure. a. It destroys faith. It destroys the initiative in the heart. It gives to man an inferiority complex. b. Mankind is afraid of God. He is afraid of himself. He always searching to find someone that can pray the prayer of faith for him. c. He has no sense of his own legal right to stand in the Father's presence without condemnation. 2. ✔️ But The Instant He Knows that he is the Righteousness of God in Christ and Knows what that Righteousness means: Satan Is Defeated IN THEIR LIFE! C. God has PROVIDED a Redemption that Perfectly Restores Mans Fellowship with the Father. 1. Now there is no sense of guilt or sin. -No memory of past wrong-doing. -The Believer Stands Complete in Christ. He has partaken of the Fullness of God in Christ. a. Jn. 1:16 "For of his fullness have we all received, and grace upon grace." D. Matt. 28:18,19 "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations," 1. Mk 16:17-18 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 2. He gave us a legal right to the use of His Name, and finally in the Great Commission He defines the Ability of that Name. He said, "In my name, You WIll Cast Out demons." a. When He declared that, He Revealed to us the secret that we were to be Masters of Satan. Because, if we can cast out one demon, We Can Cast Out All demons. b. If we have dominion over Satan, then we have dominion over all His works. 3. Do you see the Greatness of Liberty Righteousness Gives Us to stand in the Father's Presence without the sense of guilt or condemnation, and gives us the Ability to stand in the presence of Satan Without the sense of inferiority! D. What does it mean to be in Christ? 1. Rom. 8:38,39 We are in a relationship of Inseparable Love! 2. We Cannot Be Separated From It! 3. FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD OF GOD. -Read Rom. 10:17 When you are hot, refreshing Comes by Exposure to Cool air. Acts 3:19 says, Refreshing Comes from the Presence of the Lord. Faith Comes by Allowing yourself to Hear the Word and Receive it! If you become Indifferent to the Word of God you Won't Allow yourself to hear it! Matt. 14:22-32 Read All "And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” Peter Received the Faith to walk to Jesus on the water only after Jesus said, Come! The reason Peter sank after walking to Jesus on the water, is his FOCUS SHIFTED from Jesus to the doubts and fear that the Wind and Waves produced. The weight of Your Faith needs to be on the Word Come.. The Promise of God, because you can't "walk on the water" in the natural anyway! The Supernatural Call of "Come", Requires Supernatural Steps! -You will have to Trust the Power of the Living Word! That is what Walking By Faith Is!!! Supernatural! Keep Your Focus on What God Said while you walk out the Promise! Abraham Received the Faith to see Issac born after he Received a Word from God saying, “ I have made you a father of Many Nations.” When You Get a Revelation of the Word of God in your Heart, Faith is Born there! Ps. 119:130 says,"The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple." Psalm 119:130 VOICE. "When Your Words are Unveiled, light shines forth; they bring understanding to the simple." II. HOW DOES FAITH WORK? Rom. 10:9,10 Two parts of Faith. 1. Believing with the Heart. 2. Confessing with your mouth. Mk. 5:25-29 AMP "And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years,...” Notice she DID three things. 1. She Heard. 2. She Came. 3. She Confessed. Faith must be Acted upon. Let’s look at Acts 14:8-10 "And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked." The lame man had faith, but it didn’t produce until he Acted Upon it! When We Act in Faith we can do this two ways. 1. By Speaking Gods Word out of our heart. Mt. 9:27-30 2. By Taking Steps in a direction because of what I Believe. Ex. Heb.11:8 “By faith Abraham when he was called to go out…, went out not knowing where he was going.” Heb. 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast to our profession - confession of faith without wavering.” Mk. 11:23 “Whosoever shall say…, and not doubt in his heart, but believe those things which he says shall come to pass,he shall have whatsoever he says.” III. ARE YOU RESTING IN GOD AND THE PROMISE OF HIS WORD, OR WRESTLING? Heb. 4:2,3. "For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the Word Preached Did Not Profit them, Not Being Mixed With Faith In Them That Heard it." When the pressure is on, if we are not careful we may be mixing feelings and compromise with the Word that we have Heard! V.3 "For we which Have Believed Do Enter into Rest," BELIEVED: Gr. to Entrust (especially one's spiritual well-being to Christ). Commit to, be persuaded of, place confidence in. When you Have Believed, - past tense, Rest is the Result! There is a Rest with Faith! If you are not Resting, you are not in Faith yet! Keep meditating on the Word and Speaking it until you are Resting in it! Remember, you can have Faith Working in your heart while doubts are coming against your mind. Faith will say about itself whatever the Word of God Says! When the Word of God gets bigger on the Inside than the circumstances on the outside, Your Mouth will begin to Speak! Feed Your Faith and starve your doubts! The way that you keep your Mind Right when adversity comes, is to Hear Something from God's Word that is Contrary to the negative report, and then Meditate on it! YOU HAVE TO PRESS AGAINST THE PRESSURE WITH THE WORD! Maintain your Joy by Speaking the Promise! Press thru your feelings and the doubts, and Say "I'm Going Through!
